Hello and Welcome!

September 14, 2007

Hello reader!

This is my maiden voyage into the seas of the Blogasphere. In this blog I am going to write about many different subjects, ranging from politics (Minnesota and National), conservative issues, sports, and to what ever is on my mind when I sit down to write.

A little background about me: I am 28 years old, male, a proud conservative living in what at times seems to be a very liberal state politically speaking, though Minnesota seems to be going more conservative, Thank God! I am a Christian, who is very pro life, anti-gay “marriage” nor am I in favor of “civil unions”.

I am also a sports nut. I root for the following teams: In baseball: Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, the Boston Red Sox, and whoever is playing the Yankees (that’s a whole ‘nother topic for another post down the road..), In football: Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans and to a lesser extent the New Orleans Saints, and to a great extent whoever is playing (and hopefully beating the) Green Bay Packers. In Basketball, I root for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and a couple others from time to time). In Pro Hockey I’ve gone Wild, I am a fan of the Minnesota Wild. in College Sports I am a Gopher Fan all the way (University of Minnesota).

I am proud to have voted for George W. Bush, and other Republican candidates in the past election, and I will continue to hold out hope that in the 2008 Presidential Election, Minnesota will go Red (to the Republican candidate).

My viewpoints on some issues will be loved by some of you and hated by others but that is what makes America so great, we have the right to freedom of expression and freedom of the press.

In closing: Every time you think of it, please pray for the Men and Women serving this great country and putting their lives on the line to spread freedom around the world.

Activist Judges

September 14, 2007

There needs to be some sort of accountbality for these “activist judges” who chose to legislate from the bench. Before Roe V. Wade, many states had passed laws banning abortions, now because of the Supreme Court ruling that murdering unborn children is legal, today abortion is the leading killer in America. Abortion kills more than cancer, heart disease and AIDS combined. I hear all the rhetoric from the abortion rights activists, from the cliche’ “Don’t put your laws on MY body” to the “It is my body, I should be able to chose” and I agree in principle with their logic but not with their motives. I do not think the government should legislate what people do with their own bodies, but in my opinion that does not justify murdering innocent babies because having that baby might be inconvienent or too much responsibility. Instead of murdering that innocent human life, why not give the baby up for adoption, there are many thousands of people who would love to have children but for various reasons cannot. Using the logic of the rhetoric “Take your laws off of my body”, well then I guess we should legalize the rapeing of women because they don’t want to have “our” laws on their body. Before you accuse me of advocating rape, I was merely using that to make a point. I think any man who forces himself onto a woman for sexual reasons is dispicable and belongs in prison.

I am afraid that no matter how many states pass laws against homosexual marriage, that unless we either pass a constitutional ammendment banning it or take action to bar the supreme court from hearing any such subject, we will see the day when these activist judges who chose to legislate from the bench will strike down the laws of the states. Last year in Minnesota, a majority of the people were in favor of banning Gay marriage but the Democartic Farmer Labor party controlled state senate wouldn’t even let the bill come up for vote on the floor. They dodged the issue because they knew that if they voted against they would likely be voted out of office in 2006, well I have a news flash, by not acting on banning Gay marriage in Minnesota, you ignored the majority of the people and we will vote you out of office in 2006.

Like I said at the begining of this post I strongly believe there needs to be accountablity for the actions of the U.S. Supreme Court. Otherwise if the election in 2008 is as close as it was in 2000 or the democrat candidate imagines some sort of reason that every vote wasn’t counted, we very well could see these liberal judges swing the presidency away from the way the PEOPLE voted and to the way their friends the Liberal Democrats would want it.

Also I am afraid that the Supreme Court will side with the Anti-american Communist Leftists Union in the case of the Ten Commandments and that will send us further down the slippery slope to being USSA (United Socialist States of America), as it seems the liberal wing of the democratic party desires, becuase it seems to want everyone to depend on the Government. Based on the rhetoric I hear coming from the Dems, they seem to want every one to pay in most of their income to the Government and the Government will re-distribute the wealth, like is done in Communism.

I’ve done enough ranting for now…

Yes, I am questioning your patriotism!

September 14, 2007

I am questioning the patriotism of all 246 members of congress who voted for the “Embolden Our Enemies Act of 2007”. I am confident that if we cut, run and surrender in Iraq, it will make humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan look like a day at the beach. Iran and al-qaeda will certainly set up base in Iraq and have access to the oil resources of Iraq to fund future attacks on American soil that will make 9/11 look small. We will regret the day we pull out of Iraq, I guarantee it.

What makes me sick is the double talk of the moveon.org crowd who say out of one side of their mouths say they support the troops then out of the other side of their mouths they say they don’t support the mission. I remember what Lt. Colonel Oliver North said “Supporting the troops but not the mission, is like telling your wife that you love her, but you hate her cooking” If you honestly support the troops, do not cut off the funding for their mission. At one point in the war the rallying cry from the left was that the soldiers do not have enough armor, and now they want to cut off funding for this crucial effort??? Go figure.Somewhere in heaven George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and Ronald Regan are shaking their heads and saying this not the America I loved.

Written October 2006

Being that we are about month out of the mid-term election, all I am hearing from the Democrats is the usual drivel. They go on and on about how Bush is evil, the war in Iraq is a lost cause, how the Bush Tax Cuts are bad for America, that Republicans swept Foley’s wrong doing under the rug in the interest of maintaining power, etc. But I hear very few if any ideas on what they would do differently.

Basically the Democrats are behaving like the callers on KFAN after a Vikings’ loss, second guessing everything, whining about how the refs screwed us over, and calling the fans of the other team names in hopes that this will change the outcome the next time around. Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results each time, but they are yet getting the same results time after time.

Maybe if instead of calling the other team (the Republicans) names, the Democrats should quit trying to pull the wool over people‘s eyes and tell us what they really stand for and let the voters make an informed decision on the issues.

One prominent Democrat stated that “ National Security doesn’t matter”  Scary Shit after 9/11, ehh?

Based on my research on the issues, I will be voting for the Republicans to continue steering America in the RIGHT direction. I am sick of republicans being sucked to the left like John McCain (nationally) Tim Pawlenty and Jim Ramstad (locally) have been.

GloBULL SH!T Warming

September 14, 2007

Take Global warming seriously? If Global Warming were factual I easily could find it in me to take it seriously.. I am going to take a leap of faith here and go out on limb, Al. Gore seems to be blaming man for Global Warming, Well Al. Gore if global warming were caused by the ‘evil’ gas guzzling SUV’s why were there more hurricanes between 1941 and 1950? Even though I am 30 years old and obviously was not alive during that time, I can safely assume there were no gas guzzling sport utility vehicles back then.

The rising and falling of the water temperatures in the ocean is part of a natural cycle that happens with no influence or control by man. If man controls the water temperatures in the oceans why not keep the water warm in the Great Lakes year round so goods can travel to and from ports such as Duluth the whole year round? With the port of Duluth being open year round, one could easily figure it would only help the economy. So maybe our politicians namely President Bush who the environmentalists love to hate , should turn up the invisible heater in the Great Lakes so we can get our products out to send to Europe. To me this sounds like a great idea, it would create more jobs in cities like Duluth, which would create more tax revenue which our government can re-distribute via social programs and heck we could even build new stadiums for the Twins, Vikings Gophers and any other team in the state who “needs” one. Just to avoid running the risk of being taken seriously, this above paragraph is intended as satire to point out the absurdity of the man made global warming conspiracy theorists.

Since you want people to give up there big SUV’s, pick up trucks and other high emission vehicles, what do you recommend I haul yard waste to the compost pit in, or should I figure a way to attach a trailer to my bike and take it ther that way. Or what about the Construction workers who use their trucks to haul materials to build houses with, should they figure a way to haul the materials with their bicycles? What about people like me whose only vehicle is a pickup truck and they can’t afford to buy a hybrid, what should I do?

I believe that God created the earth, and He knew what he was doing, therefore I don’t believe He would allow man to destroy the earth. If earth were to vulnerable to things man has done and may do in the future, this would mean that God is imperfect, which anyone who believes the Holy Bible is God’s word knows isn’t true. Also God wouldn’t have given man the ability to invent the automobile, the internal combustion engine and other things that would wreck His perfect creation, earth.

If any further proof was needed that this Valerie Plame name leak case were just a chirade for the democrats to riase more funds from the owner of the Democratic Part, the master puppetteer George Soros. During the broadcast of the chirade err trial, a woman stood up directly behind Ms. Plame wearing a pink shirt saying “impeach Bush now”. I am convinced that Schumer and the other Democrats are using this chirade to riase more funds from their nutroots base. After all if Plame were covert why would she have appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair??????

This also proves that there is a Bush Derangement Syndrome pandemic in Washington, D.C.

Does that look like a covert agent to you?

While I know it takes both a left and a right wing for the Eagle that is American republic to fly..

It seems as if the left wing is a bit like Barry Bonds. The left wing seems to be roided up trying to hold onto the power they think they are entitled to have. For those non-baseball fans out there, Barry Bonds early in his career with Pittsburgh was a talented player who was an average hitter and was scrawny average hitter then all of a sudden he starts to get thicker and thicker and then in 2001 he looks like the incredible hulk and hits 73 home runs, and it is alleged that he took steroids and that contributed to his all of a sudden power surge.

The way the left is so angry and vitriolic against the Global War on Terror it would seem as if they are experienceing roid range.

Backbone Required..

September 14, 2007

I wish there was someone in the Republican party who had the cahones to say : “In light of the recent comments by Harry Reid stating that “the war is lost” and the recent comments by Jack Murtha stating that “he has lost all trust in our military”, I am appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the treasonous actions of Mr. Reid and Mr. Murtha”

This person would brave to be strong willed and not give two hoots in hell what the drive-by media says, and not give two hoots in hell about the attacks that will surely come from the likes of the Daily Kos and Moveon.org. In my mind the most likely candidates for an offensive like this are Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, and Michael Savage. The only problem is none of them are elected officials, so they won’t carry nearly as much weight as some one like President Bush would, but I think he isn’t interested in making any waves of the sort. So unless someone in the house or senate all of sudden grows a back bone and a pair, I don’t see this happening unfortunately…

I am sick of Republicans going along with the Democrats to get along, I wish they would have the backbone to make waves..

Summer Blockbuster!

September 14, 2007

New from the duo who brought you ‘No Child Left Behind’ and from one of the two who brought you “Campaign Finance Reform” comes this summer’s blockbuster: “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”

It is already getting rave reviews: Jose Garcia of La Raza gives it a rating of “Cinco Thumbs Up!” Maria Sanchez of La Raza also gives it “Quatro thumbs up!”. However the critics like U.S. Congressman and Presidential Candidate Tom Tancredo call it amnesty by another name.

Please note the names from La Raza are made up for the sake of making a point
